The garden felt like a little paradise, and from our roomy balcony we had a spectacular look toward Chora and the castle. Asteri is a welcoming family-run place, kept clean and in good shape. Our room could use a renovation and more modern amenities, though. They kindly included breakfast, but the choices were limited, especially for a vegan like me. I had a great stay and would gladly come back.

Skala port and town are close, and the sea is just steps away, so the view was breathtaking. Our room was spotless, and the staff were so attentive and friendly. We absolutely loved being here and would stay again.

We went snorkeling in the cove below and walked into Skala for restaurants. Our room looked over that cove, and the sunset view was amazing. Stefanos was incredibly helpful. The hotel has a lot of charm, and it was very quiet in mid-September. We’ll come back and stay longer next time.

I’ve been returning for 13 years and wouldn’t choose anywhere else for a happy, peaceful holiday. The family who run Asteri are friendly and always helpful, the rooms are immaculate, and the food is great. My balcony has amazing views. The hotel is far enough from town to stay peaceful, but Skala is still just a ten-minute walk along the harbour.
