The gardens around the room were beautiful, with pomegranate, avocado and lime trees, and everything was very clean and well maintained. We stayed 11 nights, and Dennis was a perfect host, always taking care of what we needed. It was peaceful and quiet in the evenings, yet only a two minute walk to the strip and five minutes to the beach, with plenty of bars and tavernas nearby. Some tavernas may need booking in summer. The room was clean and had enough space for our clothes, but despite being self catering it only had two hobs, so we couldn’t cook a full meal. No toaster or microwave either. The hairdryer by the mirror was handy, though there weren’t many plug sockets. I’d definitely stay again.

The gentleman running the place was kind and accommodating, even when we got our timings wrong. Our room had everything we wanted, and the location near the centre was perfect. We had a perfect stay and would definitely come back.

Dennis gave us five star hospitality. We asked to keep our room for the day since our flight wasn't until the evening, and paid a €25 late cleaning fee. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. We were two adults and two children, staying for a week in a family studio at Dionysios studios. I’ve been visiting Skala for 22 years, and this was a hidden gem in a really quiet area, five minutes on foot from the main strip and ten from the beach. The basic room had a double bed, a separate room with twin beds, a small kitchen and a balcony. It came with basic kitchen utensils, a fridge, hair dryer, kettle, dish soap, sponge and WiFi. Towels were changed often, beds once a week, and bins emptied daily. There were lines on the balcony for drying washing, plus a book swap at reception. The bathroom was small, and you had to hold the shower head because there was no wall bracket.

The owner was lovely and around if you needed him. I often saw him tending the lovely gardens. Our spacious apartment had two bedrooms and a sea view, just at the edge of the village. It was an easy five minute stroll to the beach and handy for everything. Great value for money.
