The service was excellent, and the views over the monastery and the town street are lovely. It's a quaint hotel with the basics, though the room felt dated and was noisy. That's part of staying right in central Patmos, and I still thought it was worth booking.

We could see the ocean and sunset through the double doors from our balcony, and the location worked perfectly while we explored the whole island. Athena was a lovely host, even picking us up from the ferry at midnight for what would otherwise have been a tricky five-minute walk. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and breakfast was fresh and Greek. Our ferry leaves at 10 tonight, and the owners are letting us keep the room until then. I'll definitely return. Patmos is so peaceful, with beautiful beaches and holy sights.
