En Patmo Holiday Home

Everything is so thoughtfully designed and spotlessly tidy, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. En Patmo sits right in central Skala, yet it's completely quiet. Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. I'll definitely come back when I visit lovely Patmos again.

The terrace is what we'll remember most, with all those hours spent looking out at palm trees, rooftops, the Monastery of the Apocalypse, and Chora. From every window there's a view. Opening the bedroom shutters to see the dazzling white, three-domed church of Agios Ioannis was especially memorable. The house is tucked away and peaceful, but just two minutes from Skala's lively, cafe-filled main square. Katerina, the housekeeper, is such a warm, welcoming host. This classic Patmian home has high ceilings, thick whitewashed walls, and some exposed stone. It belonged to a shipping captain and was carefully restored by the same family in recent years, with lots of love and history in it. We've stayed twice, first for a short visit in the beautiful studio in 2021, then for an unforgettable longer working holiday last month in the lovely upstairs apartment. A special place on a special island.

Do you take arrivals at En Patmo around 2-3 am? It depends how long it takes to get off the Blue Star ferry. I'm looking at two nights in September 2024. This is my absolute favourite!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the experience. EnPatmo's house is cozy, comfortable, and traditional, with all the right utensils for a couple of days on the island. It's clean, too. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Patmos. Thank you!
