The room needs some work, including paint and replacement wood. There's no shower curtain, so I used most of the towels to cover the toilet and floor. The mattress was uncomfortable; I found a heavy blanket in the closet and put it on top for some cushioning. Breakfast starts at 8:30 for hotel guests. My first morning, I came to the restaurant then and waited while the owner and three staff sat at a table drinking coffee, smoking, and chatting. They knew I was a guest but didn't acknowledge me for 20 minutes. Another guest arrived, and only then did they start working. They served that guest first, then took breakfast orders from people who had walked in from outside. Someone finally came to take my order at 9:00, and it took another 10 minutes to get water and a simple omelette. It wasn't busy, so waiting 40 minutes for that felt completely unjustified. The owner of Galini has a lot to learn about hospitality. Leaving a guest waiting while choosing to chat with staff was ridiculous and unprofessional. This happened on Sunday, September 15.

We were looking for a room during the island's power outage, and the receptionist kindly offered us the Booking.com price :) After the electricity came back, we found it an amazing place to stay, maybe the best value on Agistri!

For the price, it's an easy stay in a good location. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the air conditioning works. Room layout feels a bit like a dorm, so it can get noisy sometimes. If you're on one side, there's a cute view of the church.

Unacceptable. The shower has no curtain, the toilet is tiny, and the bed is so close to everything that anyone could hear you being intimate with your partner. Worst of all, our rooms were right between the entrance and the road, so we heard all the guests and people outside. Both mornings I woke at 7 and couldn't get back to sleep. The owner seems to care only about money. Honestly, even if she offered me a free vacation there, I'd definitely say no.
