Koukounari Rooms Agistri

The only hard part was having to go home. We loved Koukounari apartments, with easy access to the beach and Skala town. The apartment had everything we needed, the staff were friendly and the pool was lovely. A beautiful holiday experience.

We stayed in an apartment with plenty of space and a pleasant terrace overlooking the sea. The rooms and apartments are set a little away from the main centre, with a lovely bar, pool and breakfast area. Everyone on staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Dimitri and the staff had such kind, upbeat energy, and we had a lovely time. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

The apartment size worked for three people, and the kitchen had enough equipment for making our own meals. The location was handy for the island, with the beach, restaurants and shops about a five-minute walk away. We liked the balconies and sea view, and the rooms, towels and sheets were clean. There was decent furniture, air conditioning in the bedroom and an extra fan for the living-kitchen area. We were disappointed to find our apartment in another complex about 100 metres from the main “Koukounari” housing, rather than where we thought we’d booked from the online listing. The bathroom was old, with mold stains on the door, a heater hanging above your head in the shower, stiff taps, a very noisy flush that took ages to refill, and little privacy because of the rolling door. In the kitchen, the balcony door stuck on the floor and was hard to open. The kitchen things didn’t feel properly clean either, I found a stuck hair in a pot used to make coffee or boil water. Outside, the neighboring garden was dirty, with leftover garbage and smelly bins.
