The location is handy, with the port and city centre about four minutes away on foot, and a supermarket right next door. The owners live in the building and are easy to approach when you need information. The place has a family-home feel, with decorations that seem to have come from their own home. My room had a hairdryer, fridge and air conditioning, and the wifi worked perfectly. I liked having a small balcony to sit on in the morning. The furniture is a little dated, but still looks fine. My only complaint was the tiny shower area: the curtain kept sticking to me. There’s a hot and cold water dispenser and instant coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was simple and delightful, especially out on the terrace.

Staying at Villa Zacharo felt more like visiting old friends than checking into a hotel. The rooms were cozy, spotless and well cared for, and you can tell the family takes pride in the place. Mr. Jacob and his family were warm and welcoming, always ready to help. The hotel is just a short walk from the port, shops and restaurants, but it stays quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. This multi-generation family-owned place is full of kindness and warmth. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Patmos.

A good budget option for a night or two in patmos, especially if you’re visiting the cave of Revelation. The owner is polite and kind.

Mr Zacharo was excellent, always ready to help with a smile and a great sense of humour. When we had trouble with a phone charger, he sorted it out quickly and smoothly. The hotel is a great choice in Patmos, right by the port and close to the shops and restaurants in Skala. Sklavenitis supermarket is next door, and there’s a large municipal parking area directly across the street.

It’s easy to get around from here: the port is close, the main business area is an easy walk, and the bus stop is nearby. We also walked to Chora. There’s a supermarket next door, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice, with coffee, tea and water available in the lobby throughout the day. Good value in an excellent spot on Patmos. We’d stay again if we return.
