Tassos is what makes this place special, warm, welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. Laza Beach may be a 2-star hotel, but the experience feels special, like being part of a small seaside family. The location is right by the sea, so you can step out of your room for a morning swim and then have breakfast with the sound of waves. Its simple, charming style suits the relaxed feel of Agistri. Absolutely wonderful stay, five stars. I can’t wait to return!

Our country’s flights were all canceled, so we couldn’t get to the hotel. Laza Beach wouldn’t give us a fair refund and returned just $7 of the $374. There was no flexibility or understanding. Think twice before booking.

The location right on the beach is perfect, and the room had the sea view we were promised, with everything feeling state of the art. It’s a great, new hotel. There is a restaurant, and beach loungers are tied to eating there, though you can settle in first and have dinner later. I wish they’d make an exception for hotel guests. Breakfast was pretty skimpy for me: an egg dish, tomato slice, bread, spread, pastries, juice from concentrate and coffee. Even though there was a professional machine, they served filter coffee, and I found little milk globules floating in it, the sort I associate with milk that’s gone off.

We really enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast was simple but tasty, and the restaurant served great food. There’s a small beach just across the little road, and the hotel sits somewhere quieter. The ferry is an easy 10-minute walk away.

We were close to shops and restaurants, and the ferry was less than a 10-minute walk away. The property itself is lovely and quiet, just across from a small beach. Our spacious room had a comfortable bed and pillows, plus a balcony with a table and chairs. The downstairs restaurant served good food.
