Dimitris made sure I’d arrived and had what I needed, even though my ferry got in at 2:30 am. There were snacks, fresh peaches and chilled wine waiting in the room, which was stunning, spacious and spotless, with luxurious, thoughtful touches throughout. They kindly let me check out late and showed me around the gardens before I left. This is one of my most special stays, especially as someone who travels often, and it was harder to leave than most places.

Anastasia and Dimitris were wonderful hosts, friendly and caring while still giving us privacy. We spent a week in the Garden Villa, which was comfortable for four adults and beautifully decorated to suit its architecture. The garden’s big table and kitchen made a lovely spot for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Our room was serviced daily and fully equipped, so it felt like home. The personal service made the stay extra special. We enjoyed every part of the week at Latmos1860, a memorable holiday on a beautiful island. I’ll definitely be back.

Dimitris and Anastasia have brought a special energy to Latmos 1860, making it a distinctive place to rest and relax. Their renovated 19th-century home sits in a quiet side street in the heart of Skala, close to the shops, restaurants and port. Inside, the stone walls, high ceilings and modern wooden furniture feel stylish and atmospheric, with very comfortable beds and strong showers. The front door is right next to Patmo holiday home. Enjoy!

From the outdoor sitting area by our room, we had a lovely view of the castle and windmills on the hill. Latmos 1860 is delightful, with a peaceful, secluded feel despite being a short walk from the ferry port in central Skala. I can’t find the words to describe how lovely the accommodations are.

It’s a very unique place to stay. Unfortunately, I found bugs in my bed and it seems I brought some home with me. I’d steer clear of the place.
