The rooms were very clean, and the location is great if you want to enjoy a holiday in Corfu. Labis and his family are among the top three hosts we’ve ever had.

The garden feels almost tropical, and having a restaurant right there was handy. It’s a lovely, family-like place, with very clean rooms and daily housekeeping. The sandy beach is under a five-minute walk away, with clear water and a very clean shore. There’s air conditioning and mosquito screens in the rooms. Highly recommended!

The owners were lovely, and the welcome was so friendly. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and beautiful pool. When I pass through again on my bike ride from Istanbul to London, I’ll be back!

We were there early in the season, when the Skala area wasn’t fully up and running yet. The beach was empty, which might be too quiet for some, but we liked it. Anyone after resorts and sports bars can head to the island’s east side. We booked the family-run Pension Skala for a full week, even though trail walkers are its usual crowd, and absolutely loved it. The homemade traditional Greek food, rooms, restaurant, garden, pool, and kind staff were all five-star. We were on our honeymoon after getting married 2-5-25, and owner Labis surprised us with fresh roses from the garden, local wine, and lots of ouzo’s for the newlyweds. Thanks to Labis, Sophia, and Anthonis for making us feel so at home.

That Greek salad was the best I’ve had anywhere in Corfu, just perfect. The owners, atmosphere, and surroundings are all worth coming to experience. Fantastic place.
