I've just had another relaxing holiday at Socrates Apartments, my second year staying here, and I've already booked for sometime next year. I love the modern feel, and the place is so clean and comfortable. I usually pick a garden view, though other views are available. Eleni, Socrates, Dimitri & family are wonderful, nothing feels like too much trouble. Mention what you need and it gets sorted. Filoxenia at its best. The apartment has air con, a refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, iron and safe. Towels and sheets are changed regularly, and they're beautifully soft and white. It's close to all amenities. Great place.

Eleni and Socrates are the best hosts, quick to help whenever you mention a question or problem. We had a spacious one-room apartment with two air conditioners, two TVs, a very big bathroom, and everything we needed. The beach is two minutes away, with good tavernas, mini markets and bakeries nearby. A comfortable, relaxing choice for a great holiday!

We had such a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back and see Helena and Sokrates. The apartment was stylish and spotlessly clean, with lots of thoughtful touches so we had everything we needed. The staff were warm and friendly, and suggested plenty of places to visit. Thank you so much!

The comfortable beds and pillows made a real difference, and the rooms are beautifully furnished with everything you might need. Eleni and her family made us feel at home, with their daily smiles and greetings and regular coffees together on the terrace. We left with lovely memories of Kefalonia, the town of Skala, and Eleni’s family, who made the stay so special. It was a peaceful, beautiful place, and we hope to meet again soon.

We’ve visited Skala regularly for years, but this was our first stay at The SocratesApartments. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, and the renovated accommodation is superb. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. Eleni gave us a very warm welcome, and the family were friendly and helpful during our 10 day stay. From our first enquiry about dates and availability, everything went smoothly. We felt so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to returning soon.
