Aretousa skiathos

This was my second stay at Aretousa, and I'd come back again, which says a lot for this B&B. The staff are good and very friendly. It could have been cleaner: even early in the season, there was dust under the bed, and the bathroom could have used some descaler. But you get what you pay for, and it's a perfect base in Skiathos town. Everything is within five minutes, it's still quiet at night, and I wouldn't stay out of town. Breakfast was limited, so every day we went to the great bakery at the top of the high street for a chocolate filled fresh croissant and coffee, around 3 euro.

Everyone was nice and polite, and the rooms were tidy and clean. It's close to Sklavenitis super market, the city center, and the port. The bus station is nearby too, and Megali ammos beach is just a five minute walk away. Really nice hotel, highly recommended for couples and families!

We will definitely come back. All the staff were excellent hosts, and receptionist Constandina especially deserves thanks. She answered all our questions in a professional yet friendly way and was very helpful.

One of the best hostesses! They gave us breakfast for free and tips for everything we wanted to do on the island.
