The staff were the standout for us. Everyone was so friendly, cheerful and helpful, and Despina could make any kind of fresh coffee. Special thanks to Stamatia, Alice, Despina, Nicole, Raz, Alex and anyone else whose name I’ve forgotten, sorry! The breakfast was delicious, the pool area was gorgeous, and the snacks we tried at the restaurant were tasty. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping kept it to a high standard every day. We also had a beautiful balcony view. I can’t fault the stay at Avaton, and I’d definitely come back. Thanks again to all the staff!

We’d happily return to this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Skiathos. The location made it easy to get to Megali Amos Beach and stroll into Skiathos Town, and the nearby bus stop was handy for getting around the island. The hotel felt modern and was spotlessly clean. We especially loved the peaceful pool area, a real place to relax, with incredibly comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice. The staff made the holiday special: everyone was welcoming, helpful and ready to do whatever they could for us. A special mention to Sergio, the manager, who was fantastic throughout our stay.
