Manolis' House

The garden, full of plants and trees, gave us shade and kept things cool all day. Our room at Manolis House was spacious and very clean, with a big balcony and chairs, and a really comfortable bed. The host was welcoming and thoughtful, gave us good advice, and was very helpful. The location was great, just a couple of minutes from main street, popular places, and the bus stop for the beaches and the airport. My partner and I had an amazing stay, and we’ll definitely stay at Manolis House again if we return to Skiathos.

We had to book two separate nights because two nights weren’t available, so we got to experience more of the lodgings. Both the ground-floor and 2nd-floor rooms were spacious, very clean, and well lit, with different designs, which was a lovely touch. Each had a kitchenette for a small meal, cold large bottles of water in the fridge, soap in the shower, and a very comfortable bed. Manoli greeted us outside, showed us around, and was an extremely kind, generous host who communicated well via Whatsapp. Walking in from the street, the large plants make the place feel peaceful right away. There’s a pool at the back for a calming swim, plus a little cabana with book lined shelves. It’s centrally located, with plenty of food and drink options within walking distance, and an easy walk from either stasi 3 or 4 on the bus. This is where I’ll stay when I return to Skiathos. I highly recommend booking here.

Manolis is a great guy and made us feel very welcome. The gardens are beautiful, and my huge room had a lovely balcony and was cleaned immaculately every day. The location is central in Skaithos town, but it feels like being up in the hills. My daughter Penelope, my wife Angela and I had the best week ever. Already booked again for 2023!

The room had everything we needed, and the host was super kind and available. It’s in a perfect spot, just 3 min from city centre. If we come back to Skiathos, we’ll definitely book at Manolis’ House again!
