MR P. Boutique Residence

Evita was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and really cute, and the location was perfect, right by the bus stop and near the port of Skiathos. Everything was super nice!

I came away feeling completely scammed, and my holiday mood was ruined. I’m not a picky traveller, but a room sold as boutique should come close to those standards, and this one didn’t. Calling it a boutique room feels like a scam. The bed looked nice but wasn’t comfortable, and the furniture seemed poor quality, just painted to look luxurious. The walls were dirty, the floor looked like something from a cheap 1960s apartment, and there were no shutters. The windows were low quality, didn’t tilt, and let in a lot of sound. There was also no privacy between the neighboring balconies because the glass between them was transparent. The door lock worked only intermittently, part of the shower box was broken, and I had to take cold showers for two nights because there was no hot water. There was dusty carpet under the bed that seemed impossible to clean, a nightmare for guests with allergies. The room was advertised with a sea view, but you could only glimpse the sea from a far corner. The main view was an old, decaying basketball court and some unsightly electric transformers, as shown in the photos. To get into the building and room, you have to download an app on your smartphone, which was quite annoying.

Dimi the host is such a kind soul, and the location is perfect too. The hospitality and service at Mr P! were amazing, and I felt right at home. A 10/10 experience. My two friends and I are absolutely coming back as soon as we can. Can’t wait! 👑👑🙌😭

This was my first hotel on my first ever solo international trip from Australia, back in June, and I’ll definitely return one day. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the room itself felt so cosy. When I arrived, a very kind, welcoming lady helped carry my luggage up the stairs. Absolutely amazing stay! ☺️
