Nimfi Suites

The pool, beach access, and location were great, and the breakfast area was modern. Getting into town was easy too. Our room, though, was in the older section and had clearly seen better days: the air-conditioning was weak, toiletries were missing, the sheets didn't fit properly, and the fixtures were worn. Service was patchy. Breakfast basics often ran out, and some coffees cost extra. I had to ask several times for an iron. At 7:30 pm, I was told I'd need to wait until morning, even though I needed it that evening. Management also came across as unwelcoming. The facilities are good, but the upkeep and service let the stay down.

Breakfast by the beach was a lovely way to start the day, and the hotel staff were attentive, helpful, and always smiling. George the manager was on hand whenever we had a question. We stayed in the new Nimfi suites, which are stunning, with lovely views, very comfortable beds, high quality finishes, and a jetted tub in every suite.

We loved relaxing by the beach and beach bar, with lots of snacks and drinks to choose from. The beach loungers and umbrella cost €20 for two, though the area is run by Serenya Beach Bar rather than being part of the hotel's private facilities. The pool area is gorgeous, and our room had a breathtaking sea view. Nimfi Suites is beautiful and exceeded our expectations, with welcoming, friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was €15 per person. The choice was a little limited, but it was enough for us, and everything tasted fresh and good. We could walk to the town center and port in about 15 minutes. Bus line 5 stops nearby and costs €3 per person each way, but we rented a quad instead. The buses looked crowded, and we wanted the freedom to explore the island and reach remote beaches without long walks. There were a few things that could have been better. Our room's air-conditioning didn't work very well, and we would have liked slippers and a bathrobe given the hotel's standard. The jetted tub looked lovely, but its water was cold and not very clean. If you're renting a quad, scooter, or car, take care as you leave for the main road: the access is steep and visibility is very limited. Even with those issues, I highly recommend Nimfi Suites.

Thank you so much, Ana, you're fantastic and really know your work! Everyone here was kind and quick to help with suggestions or find a solution. My suite was new, close to Skiathos town, and had the incredible view shown in the photo. There's a pool with a great panoramic view, plus the hotel's beach and a bar where you can grab a drink or something to eat. I had an incredible holiday and would happily come back.
