Maria was a perfect host, always helpful. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, with air conditioning and a private balcony. You can walk to some lovely waterside restaurants in a minute and reach town in a couple of minutes, but it stays very quiet at night. The airport and port are both within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Matoula was a delight, and her suggestion to visit her brother's winery high above Skiathos town turned out to be well worth the trip. Our room was fresh and spotlessly clean, with air conditioning, a balcony, and side views of the sea. The property itself is beautiful, with a nice garden and only five rooms. It sits 50 metres from the waterfront and restaurants, on the right side of the seafront when you face away from the sea. We stayed at Pansion Matoula during a 17 day trip around the Sporades Islands, having last visited Skiathos ten years ago. The price was very reasonable. I'm sure anyone lucky enough to stay with Matoula will enjoy it as much as we did.

The owner and her daughter were friendly and hospitable, and Penzion Matoula was clean and in very good condition. It's in a great spot, close to the centre and airport, while still being quiet.
