Pension Pineapple

It's only a couple of minutes on foot to the beach, and the location is convenient, but there's a lot of traffic. Our simple room faced the main road, so traffic noise was significant. We also heard people in the hallway and neighboring rooms. There was just a ceiling light, no bedside reading lights.

The rooms and ensuite bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the place has what you need, including air con and a balcony. It's good value and within walking distance of the airport, shops, pubs, restaurants, and beach. Wifi was slow for videos but fine for browsing and messages. The problem was the noisy guests. Every night they came back drunk around 2-3AM, then stood outside our door talking loudly in the corridors until 5AM. Even earplugs weren't enough to get a good night's sleep.

There's a lovely little bakery/cafe downstairs, and I'd definitely stay here again. The place is very clean and central to Skiathos Town. The rooms have everything you need and look newly decorated. Highly recommend.

My mum made the booking, but her dad died three days before they were due to travel. They wouldn't give a refund, which is fair enough, but refusing to let someone else take over the booking is a joke. There's no phone number, and they don't reply to emails. The only way to reach them was through the booking platform. Avoid at any cost. If you need anything, you can't get in touch, and they just want your money.
