The Sea House

We stayed for a week at the start of June this year, and would certainly return. The home is spacious across two levels, with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. From the terrace, the bay views are exceptional, and it's a peaceful spot to sit. It's about 50m from bus stop 4 and a five-minute walk to Skiathos town centre. The best part of the house is its owner, Despina, who lives in the apartment below. She knows every corner of Skiathos and helped us plan the whole holiday, from arranging car hire and booking restaurants to pointing us towards the best beaches and other places to visit, including the superb Parissi winery. She seems to know everyone in the island's tourist sector, so anything we needed was a phone call away. Her help turned a very good holiday into a fantastic one we'll never forget. The Sea House is charming, with a good layout and two bathrooms with showers. It has a stunning view across the bay towards Tsoungria. We had a lovely family holiday here in August 2023. It's a few minutes' walk from the town centre and convenient for the airport and port. There is a bus stop right outside, serving the main south coast beaches, though hiring a car worked better for us as a family.

We spent our family holiday at Despina’s house at the end of August 2023, and the view was the highlight for us, absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, everything was kept immaculately clean, and the house had most of the amenities we might need. It’s close enough to walk to the busy centre of town, yet tucked away enough to feel surrounded by nature. Despina was a very kind, understanding and compassionate person, as well as a helpful host who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and happy. I’d warmly recommend it to families visiting Skiathos.

The terrace view was spectacular, and the house was very clean and conveniently placed near both a nice beach and Skiathos town. We had an amazing holiday at The Sea House Skiathos, and the house exceeded our expectations. Despina was so welcoming and helpful before and during our stay. She made sure we had what we needed and even more. We definitely recommend it and will come back.
