Aktaion Guest Rooms

The bathroom is much too small to bathe without making a mess. Apart from that, everything was perfect. Being right in the center is a great advantage.

We stayed with my girlfriend at the end of June, and everything was wonderful. The room was clean and lovely, and the location is excellent, right in the heart of the country. The host was kind, informative, and excellent. He let us check out later than the stated time because our return boat was delayed, after we discussed it and if it was possible. When we visit the island again, we'll choose this place.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and the central location is excellent. Leaving the room puts you on the main pedestrian street, with the island's shops in the nearby lanes. The room was cleaned daily, with soaps, shower gels, and the bin changed. There was a very large, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and useful amenities including a TV, hairdryer, kettle, and refrigerator. For the price, it was excellent value and I recommend it. Some details could be better: the balcony is too small to sit on, and the room could use another trash bin beyond the small one in the bathroom. The bathroom layout could be more spacious without the wardrobe there, and the soundproofing could be improved.

We weren't very satisfied. At first we booked another room, but he probably moved us to a different one because we're small and thought he could take advantage of that. There was nobody there at all to contact in an emergency. On our last day, we found stains from some liquid on both of our satin dresses when we took them out of the wardrobe. I don't know what had gotten on them. We also had an unwelcome visitor, a large winged insect like a cockroach.
