Hotel Amalia 2

We’ve just spent two nights here and would happily come back. The young man at reception said the hotel had recently been remodeled, and it certainly looked that way. Everything was clean and worked well, including the very effective in-room air conditioning in the summer heat. Breakfast was a tasty, generous buffet, and the staff were gracious and exceptionally helpful. It’s a short walk from the ferries, yet set far enough from the busiest part of town to be quiet. There’s a supermarket right across the road, several car rental places nearby for exploring the island, and plenty of good restaurants within easy reach. The price was very reasonable, too. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Skopelos.

Our boat plans went wrong, and after hours of searching late at night, we finally found Amalia. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and managed to find rooms for us. We’re grateful we came across this little pearl and such lovely people. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, with a coffee maker and great air conditioning. Shops and the main town are close by. All the best from us.

My boyfriend and I had such a good time at Amalia hotel. The staff were all polite, and they cleaned our room every day. The location was perfect too :)

Ms. Alexandra at reception deserves a special thank you. Her warm manner, kindness, and professionalism made our stay memorable. We also loved the peaceful feel of the hotel and the beautiful views, and thought it offered great value. We’d gladly return to Amalia Hotel. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with fresh, tasty choices. The location felt quiet and safe, while still being within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, and shops.
