Hotel Dionyssos

The pool was fantastic, open every day from 8am to 7.30pm, with plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day. No need to rush out early to save one with a towel. Breakfast was substantial and really tasty, served from 8am to 10.30am. My daughter and I stayed five nights recently. Our room was a good size, with a nice balcony. The bathroom was a little small, but no problem. It had air conditioning, a fridge, a hairdryer and three accessible plug sockets. The staff were attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful. There’s a good range of bar snacks, including club sandwiches, burgers and pizza, as well as Greek salad and Skopelos pie. The views are stunning, and it’s a five-minute walk from the port area.

The staff were lovely, and everything was clean and tidy, though the hotel and rooms are quite basic. There’s a nice pool area with a bar serving drinks and simple snacks. The town centre is only a five-minute walk away. The beds were a little hard, and breakfast could be better. Even so, I was very happy with my stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend this hotel in Skopelos town.

After two weeks here, I’d recommend this lovely traditional Greek hotel to anyone staying on the island. It’s well placed for exploring, and the rooms are basic but kept spotless by the hardworking housekeeping team. Every staff member was polite, helpful and clearly worked hard.

Breakfast had lots of choice, with fresh bread and fruit every day plus eggs, ham and more. The pool and the area around it were very clean, with plenty of sunbeds. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and the staff were fantastic. Dionyssos Hotel is just a short stroll from town, and we’ll absolutely come back.
