Hotel Antonios

We had a ground floor room with a sea view, so we could watch the big ferries from the balcony while having morning coffee. The port is an easy 3-4 min walk away, and a well stocked supermarket and restaurants are about 2 mins away. Antonios Joanna family made us feel at home even before we arrived, with great information and communication through the app messages. They’re humble, helpful people, and had a nice goody bag from their farm waiting for us. They were positive with all the guests. Such a lovely family vibe. I feel fortunate to have met Antonios and to have friends like him.

This family owned business is wonderful and very affordable. They did a lot to make me feel at home, and my room was spotless with all the amenities. The terrace views were stunning, and everything from the port to the shops was within walking distance. I visit Skopelos often and will always stay at Antonio's Studios.

The only drawback was the AC. It kept the room cool, which was lovely, but the notably old units were noisy enough to make it hard to sleep. They need an update or a good service. Apart from that, the hosts were beyond helpful, suggesting places to visit and eat, and ways to get around. The property and rooms were very clean and nicely presented, with the fridge and table top electric stove and everything needed for short or long stays. It’s in a great spot with beach views. Ask for the top floor room, the view is spectacular. We’d definitely return and recommend it.

We had front facing rooms and a very good view, with peace and quiet, and it wasn’t a long walk to get there. The location is very good. The rooms were ok, but not very clean despite the effort. We found dirt under the bed, including a bottle cap, which made it clear that spot hadn’t been cleaned. Some things need renovation, including the AC units, which are rusted from the sea air and don’t work well, plus the bathroom tap and the very squeaky beds. No major complaints overall, but it was far from perfect.
