The room was spacious and clean, though a bit dated. Towels and toilet paper weren’t replenished regularly.

The staff were fantastic and knew their stuff, and the rooms were spotless with everything we needed. They’re basic, as you’d expect for the price, but better than some four-star hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s unbelievable value, just three minutes from the harbour and a great base for exploring this fantastic town. We stayed one night at the Regina after taking the ferry from Skiathos, where we were on a two-week holiday. I can’t recommend that trip enough. Skopelos Town is amazing, and I found it prettier than Skiathos Town, which is lovely in its own right. We wished we’d booked another night. One of the best little hotels we’ve used, and such good value.

The room was small, and so was the balcony, but it was fine for one night. Everything was clean, and the housekeeper was quick and helpful. The Greek owners were friendly, and getting there from the port was easy, about a ten-minute walk.

There’s no breakfast at the property, but plenty of nearby places serve a good breakfast with local flavors. Try the local cheese pie, Skopelitiki strifti tyropita. The hotel is right by the port, close to everything, and check-in was smooth. The people were kind, and it seemed like a small family-run place. Public areas were very clean. My room was a regular size, with a furnished balcony looking over Skopelos Town. The mattress was very comfortable, the linens and towels were fresh and clean, and there were lots of TV channels. Wi-Fi was decent for an island in the middle of the Aegean, and daily housekeeping kept the room fresh. A good stay, and I’d recommend it.
