The owners were extremely friendly, and staying here was a real pleasure. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with a beautiful view, in an excellent location.

It was really nice to see such warm hospitality in a popular beach destination. The host was fantastic and even let us park in his driveway.

The room looked nothing like the listing led us to expect, and we were disappointed. The owners seemed friendly and helpful after a few emergencies, but that's about where the positives ended. For four people, the room was badly equipped: the kitchenette was missing basic things like enough cutlery, a cutting knife, a usable board, a working frying pan and at least two pots. The toaster handle was broken, the TV remote didn't work, the fridge compartments were cracked and its motor was very loud. Even getting trash taken out meant repeated requests, and the bin was broken. On its own, each issue might seem small, but together they made us question what we were paying for. The stone grill seating looked like a nice place to relax in the photos. In reality, it was a cluttered laundry and utility corner with buckets, boxes, equipment and tools. The five-star reviews set expectations that the property didn't meet. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting comfort for a reasonable price.
