The toilet smells really bad.

The balcony view across the gulf is easily the best part, with wonderful scenery, and the apartment has air conditioning. It's kept clean, but the kitchen is almost bare, so bring a moka pot, cutlery, a corkscrew, and salad bowls unless you want to eat out every night. The kitchen unit is tiny but functional, the closet is very small, and the whole studio, bathroom included, is only about 6 by 3 meters. Unfortunately, just a few hours before we were due to leave, the manager asked us to switch rooms. I had already complained that room 204 was small, but after moving to 303 I realized I'd been in a villa by comparison. The other rooms are even tinier. You can barely move around the bed or open the closet. HELP 😕

The rooms have a fantastic view, which is their best feature. The place is a little outside Skopelos town, and the road can be tricky if you're driving, as it's narrow and quite steep. The facilities are only average, and the rooms need renovation. Don't set your expectations too high.

The view is the only positive, and even that loses its appeal because of the trough. Getting to the property feels like climbing straight up a mountain, and I worried the car might tip over. There's no reception. The walls were damp and smelled strongly of mold, the toilets were stained with salt and rust, and the mosquito nets were torn. The refrigerator was moldy inside with rusty shelves. There was also a bird's nest in the air conditioner on the balcony.
