Paraskevas Beach Hotel

We stayed three nights, and the experience was a mix. The staff were kind, helpful, and funny, and the breakfast was okay, with fresh orange juice as the highlight. They kept the food replenished. Room 112, though, left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was ridiculously cramped. The shower had no curtain, and the toilet was only about 10 cm away, so turning around in the shower meant spraying water everywhere. The bigger problem was the jacuzzi above us. Some inconsiderate guests ran it from 2am to 4am, and the noise was like 20 minutes of thunder from 2km away. We couldn't sleep. The hotel should set usage hours so guests trying to rest aren't disturbed. The cleaning lady works incredibly hard, which I respect, but she needs to use deodorant or antiperspirant. Wherever she went, there was a sweaty smell. The hallways and rooms should smell pleasant, since that's one of the first things guests notice. After she cleaned our room, it smelled like sweat for hours. It was disgusting.

For a quiet holiday, this is a great place. The room was clean, the bed really comfortable, and the view amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful too.

The people looking after the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and the minibar prices weren't expensive. Breakfast costs €5 per person and includes bread, olive paste, jam, honey, a boiled egg, and tea or coffee. It was good. The setting is quiet, at the end of Tyros bay, with panoramic sea views. The center is about 1 Kilometres away on foot, and the old harbor around 2 Kilometers. The rooms could use refurbishment, though many places in Greece are struggling with money. I think it's okay for a short stay, since you'll probably be out most of the day.

We arrived unexpectedly because of a huge storm and had no expectations, but the place really impressed us. The receptionist was so kind and happy to accommodate us. It felt clean as soon as we walked in, and was safe and quiet. Breakfast on the terrace was beautiful. If you're in this town, stay here. Thanks for having us, five stars all around.
