A lovely holiday studio, and the hosts were great.

I left after just 10 minutes because the apartment was terrible. There was no wardrobe, no chest of drawers, nowhere to put my belongings. The promised parking space was 100 meters away, and there wasn’t any public parking available.

It’s easy to settle into a relaxed pace here. There’s fresh air, local fruit and vegetables, and seafood, with mountains for climbing in spring and fall when the beaches take a back seat. The coastline has plenty of variety, and some beaches are just a seven-minute drive away while others stretch on endlessly. For a change of scene, Sparta, Nafplio, Mycenae, and Argos are about a leisurely hour and a half away on winding roads, with ruins, lively streets, and shopping.
