We’re back for a second stay, and it’s still really nice. The place is simple, while the family running it is polite and very friendly, and the location is perfect. Breakfast is much the same each day, but tasty. Give the cherry jam and the homemade tea from the owners a try.

We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at Des Roses, and the place was calm, welcoming, clean, and had great value for money. The garden is beautifully cared for and really stands out in the area. Breakfast was satisfying, if not spectacular. I appreciated that they avoided needless food waste instead of trying to impress with too much variety and abundance. Seafood isn’t usually on the menu, but chef Nikos kindly took our request and made us a delicious plate of freshly caught sardines one evening. Thanks again! The one small thing I’d change is the mattresses. Toppers would have made the sleep as comfortable as the rest of the stay. Still, we felt great here and would definitely recommend Des Roses. 🌹🌹🌹

The warm, friendly hosts made this vacation special for our family. The Nikos Dovas family puts a lot of love into running the hotel and does their best to make every guest feel at home. They serve traditional food that’s absolutely delicious, and there’s a lovely garden where you can enjoy it. Hotel Des Roses is a great spot for a family holiday in an authentic Greek setting, away from crowds and noise. The studio was functional and had everything we needed, and the whole property is very well maintained. We recommend it to anyone planning to visit the magical Pilion.

The friendly, helpful staff are what made our stay unforgettable. We’re so grateful we got to spend a few days here and hope to return soon. The exterior is beautiful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we could want. We were completely taken with the place!

I absolutely love this place and would recommend it 100%. It’s a lovely Greek village with beautiful sea and amazing nature, and I’ve never met a kinder family. The homemade food was delicious and made with love. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything!
