We've been coming to Nirvana for two years now. The rooms are great, and the service is excellent. Maria, the host, is really nice, and Simon is the best staff member there. We couldn't get a room this year because it was full, but we stopped by to visit our favorite hotel in Kala Nera.

This is about the restaurant, not the hotel. It's in a great spot right on the beach, but the meal was disappointing. The dakos salad had poor tomatoes and the rusk was too hard. The squid was burnt, and we found a hair. My daughter's spaghetti bolognese was the only decent dish. Such a shame given how central the location is.

I didn't stay here, so I'm only reviewing the food. I asked while passing by if they did takeaway, and they said yes. I ordered two gyros with tcheniki. The service was quick and polite, and the gyros were some of the tastiest my partner and I have had. The portion was generous for a more than fair price. I'd definitely recommend it and come back.

I only tried the restaurant, not the hotel. The place looks clean and attractive, and the staff were friendly, though service dragged even on a quiet spring day in April. The food was decent but plain and nothing special, especially for the average price. It wasn't bad, but the restaurant didn't impress me.

The owners and staff are so kind, and the rooms, while small, are clean. The hotel is right on the beach, which is a great location. One downside is that the restaurant didn't open in 2024.
