Villa Mina

We love coming here. Mina and Nico are lovely hosts, always available if you need something while still giving you complete privacy. It's such a calm place, with the beach just around the corner. You can hear the waves from the balcony, and the whole area has a kind of magic that brings back childhood memories. The price, 25-45 Euro depending on the season and number of people, is very reasonable. The upper and lower apartments are both about 40-45 squaremeter and have large kitchen areas that can sleep two more people. I wouldn't recommend the apartment with two separate bedrooms, though. It's really small and cramped, and I wouldn't want to spend my holiday there. The cleaning also needs work. Mina used to clean everything herself, but now that Nico does a big part of it, you can feel the difference. A few years ago everything was spotless. On our last two visits things were a bit sticky, the mirrors weren't clean and the bathroom and kitchen surfaces were dirty or sticky. The old mattress in the upper apartment is another comfort problem. We spent 10 days there, and both of us woke up with bad back pain every morning. If there's any way to replace it, please do. Those two issues are the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. Apart from them, we love everything and are happy to come back soon!
