We walked a block and found four dinner options, including Soprionos, where the food was great and the welcome was warm. The place is clean, fairly equipped, and mostly new, a good spot to drop your bags, eat, sleep, and refresh between long flights. Reception was helpful. A quick overnight stay very near Athens airport. GPS there was $30Eu, and a local taxi back cost $18Eu. I’d recommend it to family and friends.

There are a few cafes and places to eat just a short walk away, and the airport is about a 15 minute drive. We stayed one night before flying home. Avelink communicated very well, sending detailed directions the day before, including entry codes and parking information. There are three spaces on site plus another parking location. The apartment was clean, quite spacious, and had a balcony.

We picked this place because we needed parking near the airport, but wanted to avoid Athens as we planned to drive to the Peloponnese. It worked perfectly as a comfortable stop before setting out. The apartment was easy to reach, and we had a parking spot. Our room was spacious, with a bedroom and a sofa bed for our daughter. There were plates and dishes, and the bathroom was nice. No washer, but I was able to wash clothes in the bathroom sink and dry them on the balcony. Check-in instructions came by email and were easy to follow. The room was above ground level, and the lift made it easy to bring up our luggage. There are several restaurants nearby, and we used the food recommendations list to pick a good dinner spot. A pharmacy is just across the road, and Lidl is a short drive away if you want groceries to cook at home. I imagine it’s a little out of the way if you’re visiting Athens, but for our plans it was ideal.

The rooms were very clean, but we had cold showers in the morning. Check-in was difficult, with two other couples also trying to work it out. The owners never answered the phone or replied to messages.
