We didn't stay at the hotel, just visited the shop, and the people there were so kind and friendly. Their sheep's milk ice cream is delicious, worth stopping for on its own. The shop also has fair prices and all sorts of goods, including local oil, soaps, tea, perfume, wine, honey, jewelry, and more. If you're in Spili, make sure to go.

We planned on two nights at Costa's Inn, then liked it enough to stay a third. The hostess was incredibly kind, generous, and helpful, and had lots of information about the area. Ask her about the caves, eagles, and orchids. The breakfast was wonderful, the room very clean, and the balcony was a lovely place to watch the world go by. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The Costas Inn Olive Oil sold at the shop in front of the hotel is really tasty, and the quality is high for the price. The woman working there was super friendly and knew a lot about different olive oil producers. It was lovely chatting with her. 10/10, would recommend.

The room and everything in it smelled amazing, from the towels and sheets to the room itself, and it was even nicer than the photos. We only stayed one night, but loved it. The double bed was the biggest we slept in during our time in Crete. The lady gave us a room with a lovely view, just as she said she would, and was very helpful with tourist information. Spili is a small, charming village, with bars and restaurants just a few metres away. The place is opposite a huge free parking lot. There are a few stairs and no elevator, which wasn't an issue for us but might not suit older people. Being next to the main road also means it's not the quietest spot, though it was fine for one night. We'd definitely stay again if we return to Crete.
