We had a brilliant two weeks here. The staff were amazing and always happy to help, and the shaded chill-out area was beautiful and really welcome in the baking sun. The bar food was lovely too. My only small complaint is that there wasn't much clothes storage for a family of four. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful holiday. I'd definitely recommend this gem.

It was quiet, we felt safe, and the staff were relaxed but always around when needed. The bar and food menu were nice, and the room did the job. Towels and other items were changed, but the floors weren't swept or wiped during our ten days, so we had a lot of sand to deal with. There was no blackout blind or curtain either, so it got very bright from 6 a.m. It's a small, well-run hotel with lovely grounds. The pool isn't very big and there isn't much space for sunbeds, so we went to the beach most days. The walk down to the beach and restaurants takes about five minutes, though the hill up to the hotel is quite steep. We'd stay again 👍

The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great holiday in the end, and the price was substantially lower than other accommodation options we'd looked at. The pool was very good, with sunbeds easy to get early in the morning and in the afternoon. Breakfast was basic but good. There's also a pool bar with drinks and food, and restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from Stalis's wonderful beach. Beyond that, there's not much to do in Stalis, and nearby Malia is a better location. The air conditioners seem poorly maintained, based on our stay and other reviews. Ours barely cooled, so we used a fan for the first few days. Then it broke completely and was fixed the next day. We had no unexpected charges. The small playground shown proudly as the hotel's main Google photo no longer exists. It didn't feel like a four-star hotel, but the location, good value, and very friendly staff mean we'd still recommend it.
