The stay was extremely frustrating and nowhere near what was promised. The room photos online were misleading, and there was no proper car park, just a nearby field with no direct access to the hotel. That made loading and unloading our bags awkward. I booked a quadruple family room through Agoda for two adults and two children, expecting a spacious, clean, family-friendly place. At check-in, staff rudely insisted the booking was for three adults in a triple room and refused to honor the room I’d booked and paid for. Even after I showed the confirmation, they said no such room was available and that families with small children usually don’t get the larger rooms, something never disclosed before booking. Our room was much smaller and in very poor condition. Furniture was broken, with nails sticking out; there was mold and mildew in the bathroom; and the shower had no partition, so the bathroom floor flooded. The air conditioning blew cold air straight onto the bed, with no way to adjust the temperature, fan speed, or airflow direction. The broken door lock meant getting into the room could take up to 10 minutes. Sleeping comfortably was impossible. Cleaning staff shouted loudly in the corridors every day between 1 and 3 pm while small children were trying to nap. Staff stayed impolite and dismissive throughout, wouldn’t apologize, offer an upgrade or compensation, and even refused basic help with luggage. Breakfast was very basic and tasteless, including the coffee.

The room was spotless when I arrived and was kept in great shape throughout my stay. The pool was another highlight, with clear water and a very clean, well-maintained area. The front desk staff were nice and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was included but only okay, and could use more variety and flavor. The showers were a bit uncomfortable too. Still, Stavros Beach hotel has plenty going for it, and I’d recommend it for a pleasant vacation.

The breakfast was nice, and the location was the hotel’s one real advantage. But the price didn’t match what we got. The room photos online had nothing to do with ours, and the hotel felt very outdated and dirty. Our bathroom was extremely dirty, with holes in the wall covered by a sticker. The windows in shared areas were so fogged up you could barely see through them, and the balcony door wouldn’t lock. Our room also lacked a dryer that other rooms had. Bar service was painfully slow: it took almost 20 minutes to get two beers, even though we were the only customers apart from the hotel owner. The front desk wasn’t open around the clock, the lobby was locked after midnight, and the elevator didn’t work. I’m adding photos from the hotel to show what it was really like.

The rooms are a little dated, but they were cleaned daily and the beds were made. The pool is modern and nice, and its area is clean and very well maintained. There’s also a pool bar with a good selection of food and drinks. Breakfast is included and delicious, with no real complaints about the food. The coffee machine isn’t great and the coffee is very weak, and the juice machine isn’t good either. We were fine with water. The beach is close, and there are lots of other beautiful beach options with nice bars, including quieter ones without hotels or guest houses around them.

The beach is very close, and the hotel felt lovely for families with kids and babies. It was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always trying to make sure we had a great stay. Knowing Serbian is a big plus. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of fruit. Dine around was good too and gave us variety for a longer stay.
