The owners were very kind and welcomed us with Cretan snacks and wine. The villa is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you could ask for. The nearest beach is less than a 5-minute walk away, and Zorbas beach is around 10 minutes on foot, definitely worth the walk. There are friendly tavernas nearby with great food, and a breathtaking hiking trail starts about 10 minutes from the villa. Public buses make it easy to reach Chania, and getting to and from the airport is easy too. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Crete.

The garden and house felt very homey, and the place was beautiful and well equipped. There are air-conditioners in the rooms and a great terrace with a Mediterranean feel. Nearby, we found a beautiful beach, a couple of traditional Greek restaurants, and two minimarkets with everything we needed. I’d really recommend it for a family or a group of friends.

The garden at Michael's house is huge, with trees and bright flowers, and the villa itself is lovely. It felt like home from the start. We were only a 3-minute walk from the beach, with traditional restaurants and tavernas nearby where we could enjoy Cretan hospitality. There are plenty of hiking trails too. Michael and his family were always available when we had questions, and local treats were waiting for us when we arrived. We couldn't have been happier, and we'll be back next summer. We had a lovely stay, and the children especially enjoyed the garden. Mike's house is spacious and very clean, and Mike was there whenever we needed anything. We'd happily recommend it.
