The view from the terrace and pool is incredible, it was wonderful just sitting there and looking out at the sea. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive and lovely. We had a large suite for five, with spacious, clean rooms, fresh towels and daily service that kept everything tidy. The rooms seem a bit old, but that doesn't take away much of their charm. The beach and good tavernas are right below, with good restaurants a few minutes away. Getting to the hotel was difficult for us because both the main road and the road to the beach parking are not very accessible. There are also lots of stairs, so it isn't easy for people who have trouble walking. For exploring the island, it's a little far from most recommended towns, which are about an hour away, though Argostoli is close. It's good value for money and a good fit if you have a car. We'd recommend it for the genuinely lovely people and amazing views.

We had a great time and found the stay really comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and the studio was clean every day, with new towels every three days and bed linen changed every 4-5 days. The thick walls meant we couldn't hear people in the other room when sharing a studio. There's private parking, tennis and basketball courts, a small children's playground, a clean swimming pool, and a fruit garden. I strongly recommend it! I also made a Poke stop for Pokemon Go players.

We felt at home at Costa Avithos, thanks in part to the warm staff and their useful local tips. Our comfortable room had breathtaking views from the balcony, and the sea views around the hotel set a peaceful tone from the start. It offers luxury along with a genuine Kefalonian experience. A must-visit for anyone coming to the island.

Our group of 21 rented two large units, each with five bedrooms. The stay was comfortable and clean, and the hosts were welcoming and accommodating. We had an amazing time and strongly recommend it.

The staff are very friendly and ready to help with every need, and the cleanliness is impeccable. It's near one of Kefalonia's best beaches and is the best hotel in Avithos. Definitely worth a stay.
