Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

The staff’s kindness and attentiveness made us feel truly cared for. They were responsive, supportive, and flexible with everything we needed, including some last-minute changes involving our young daughter. We’re very grateful, and hope to come back. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with excellent facilities and a calm, elegant feel. Highly recommended for both the hotel and the warm, professional people who work there. We were a group of 25, with families, children, and teenagers, and booked 12 rooms. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was served well, with lots to eat at lunch and very good dinner too. The rooms were clean, and both the indoor pool and outdoor pool were very nice, with the outdoor one especially clean. The hotel is right beside the airport, so if there are lots of flights, that may be something to consider unless you plan to spend your time out of the hotel. There’s a beach nearby and a couple of Tavernas within walking distance.

The restaurant food was exceptional, and the evening service from Dora, Eleni, and Mike was excellent. Breakfast was very good too, thanks to Miranda and her staff. Everyone was helpful, and the rooms were spotless and to a high standard. We were near the airport and under the flight path, so incoming planes were loud, though not too intrusive. There are several Tavernas within walking distance, along with a pleasant, safe sandy beach nearby.

We only stayed one night as a couple at Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely sea view, a cozy bed, a large shower, and complimentary minibar drinks. The hotel is beautifully set by the sea, close to the airport. You can sometimes hear planes landing, but the peaceful atmosphere held up. It’s stylish and clean, and the staff were lovely, polite, always smiling, and glad to help. They also happily arranged a late checkout for our afternoon flight. The spa has dry and wet saunas, an indoor pool, and massage treatments, though those were very pricey. Dinner felt like a fine restaurant meal, with delicious food and exceptional service. Breakfast was the one small snag: some items, especially vegetables, ran out and weren’t replaced promptly. I asked twice and still got no response. Even so, we had an amazing stay and would love to return.
