I left after only a few hours because the conditions were unacceptable. My friends had booked through Loveholidays, and honestly, the place felt like a scam to me. The pool wasn’t there, despite the photos and description, and everything looked dirty, neglected, and badly maintained. The bathroom was especially awful, with mold, rust, a strange smell, and just one roll of toilet paper as an amenity. The woman managing the property also demanded an extra €8 a day for air conditioning, which hadn’t been mentioned beforehand. Even after I said I would pay, she asked me to switch it off. Nothing matched what had been shown or described.

We all loved our stay and will definitely come back. It’s a lovely spot in nature, with big comfortable rooms and all the necessary facilities. The nearby beaches were wonderful, and my kids especially enjoyed the place. The hosts are kind, amazing, and willing to help with whatever’s needed.

There’s no reception, and the pool bar is closed. The pool itself is empty, with frogs in a puddle collecting at the bottom. There’s no lighting around the pool at night, and it’s by the entrance, which feels very dangerous. The bathroom smells of sewage, and both the toilet and shower leak. There’s no cleaner, so we had to ask for fresh towels and a bed change. There wasn’t any toilet paper either, and we had to buy our own. The place sits in the middle of a farm, with nothing nearby and a good walk to everything. There are lots of mosquitoes and gnats that seem immune to repellents, and there were a lot of very unhappy guests.

I just arrived and the staff have been really friendly and welcoming, with excellent service so far. It might seem a bit isolated at first, but you can easily rent a car or walk a little over 10 minutes to the bus stop.

This no longer feels like a holiday place. Travel Republic assured us before we left the UK that the pool would be working, but it was empty. The only other residents seemed to be migrant workers, who got up noisily at around 5 am.
