Grace Hotel & Studios

The cleaners, receptionists and location were all great, but the booking.com room listings seemed to combine several different rooms, and we didn’t get the one we expected. Only after we complained to booking.com did the owner move us to a terrace room at captain suites. It was fine, though we should have been given the right room to begin with. The owner’s son at Fotaras cafe had a horrible attitude and no customer service skills. I took lovely photos of the view, but that was from the sister hotel captain’s suites, where we’d moved, so I won’t post them. Grace studios has a lot of potential, but needs to pay more attention.

The family who runs the hotel were lovely and really helpful, and the room had clearly been renovated with care, from the colors to the lighting. It was also quiet, with a super comfortable bed and air-conditioning, so it was easy to relax. The location worked well for us: away from the city center noise, but only a minute’s walk from it. We stayed five nights and I’d definitely recommend it.

We especially enjoyed the terraces in the evenings after coming back from the beach. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and sits in a quiet spot that’s still right in the center. Vicky was always there if we needed anything, and Yannis was lovely. He served an amazingly tasty breakfast at the nearby Captain hotel. We’d happily recommend this place.
