Taxiarchis

Frank picked me up at the port and drove me back on my return date, which was a big help after a long night of travel. The room was cleaned every day, and there are markets and kiosks around the hotel. Two excellent Greek restaurants, Kali Strata and Georgia & Maria, are also within walking distance. The owner, his wife, daughter and granddaughter were always kind and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking Pedi Bay was amazing: feta, bacon, omelette, little fresh pizzas, Greek pastries and more. I highly recommend Taxiarchis, and we’ll stay there next time we visit beautiful Symi Island ❤️

The homemade breakfast was amazing, with fresh pizzas, Greek pitas, fruit salad and Greek yogurt, and the views from the hotel made a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing stay. Frank, his wife and their granddaughter gave us such warm, attentive hospitality and made us feel at home. I had an incredible stay at Taxiarchis Hotel in Symi. Highly recommend this gem for a visit to Symi!

The room was spacious and extremely clean, with a large balcony looking over Pedi bay. It was peaceful, and the views were amazing. Breakfast had lots of choice, with super fresh eggs and that same lovely view. Frank kindly collected us from the port when we arrived in April and dropped us back there when we left. He and his family made us feel very welcome. They’re lovely people, and my husband Phil had some really interesting, enjoyable chats with Frank. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was delicious and set us up well for a day exploring Symi. The rooms were beautifully kept, with lovely ocean views. The apartments are close enough to the centre to walk, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Frank collected us from the port, and he and the rest of the family made us feel right at home. He even drove us for our early morning ferry. We had a dream of a stay and will come back when we return to Symi.
