The hosts were very nice and helpful, and even sent us off with a little bottle of ouzo. The WiFi was consistently fast. From the top level, the view across the bay was simply stunning. The room was spacious, with more than enough catering facilities, comfortable beds, a great shower, and the extra convenience of a washing machine. I’d read complaints about the steep entrance, but it’s only about 20 meters and didn’t seem difficult to me. Fantastic accommodation in a superb location.

If you want somewhere to retreat for a while, these beautiful, very spacious apartments are in a quiet little village with a lovely panorama. They’re a good base for exploring the island by car, though without a car or boat you might feel somewhat isolated. There’s even a washing machine, so you can pack fewer clothes without compromising on hygiene.

The two-bed studio had everything we needed, and it was cleaned regularly with fresh towels. Apostolos was easy to reach by email; we arranged the stay ten days before the holiday. Sivota makes a great base, with some of the best restaurants and several lovely beaches nearby, including Dessimmi, Mikros Gailos, Ammousso and Afteli. The accommodation is in one of Lefkada’s best areas, with a wonderful view over Sivota Bay.

The apartment was spotless and fully equipped, and the owners were warm and helpful throughout. They provided everything we asked for. We had a really lovely time at captain's house, and would happily return.

We had a wonderful view from our room, and the hosts were friendly. The place was clean and comfortable, with an excellent location. A perfect vacation stay, definitely recommend it!
