We were four people and spent two great weeks at this villa. It was in excellent condition, and the owner had decorated it nicely. From the start we felt welcome, with fresh fruit and breakfast waiting for us. The garden was lovely, with a pool, sun loungers and a good barbecue. The owners also run a nice restaurant in the neighboring village and invited us there for an evening. If I return to Crete, I’d consider staying at this villa again.

The facilities are fairly good, but the pool is very small, and the steep hill up to this little village makes the apartments feel remote from Hersonissos town. The main problem was the noise. Vagelis, the person in charge, would sit with others by the poolside bar and talk loudly until very late, past 1 a.m. Young people were noisy at night too. Our family couldn’t rest; it was a nightmare, unlike anything we’ve experienced on a Greek island. If you’re looking for peace, you won’t find it here.
