Hotel Fourkos

It's not a five-star hotel, but it has what you need to be comfortable. The two single beds were very comfortable and had clean, new pillows. The bathroom was clean too, with fresh towels every day. The woman at reception was extremely kind. We'd come back :)

I wouldn't recommend it. The rooms were old, the food wasn't good, and there was no variety. At dinner, they made four of us share one plate. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close, and I'm sure the hotel knew about it but hadn't fixed it. There was hair in the bathroom too.

The people here were so nice to us, especially Natalia. Thanks for everything and for the lovely morning coffee, it was a pleasure meeting you. See you next year! We stayed three nights. Our room was large, clean, and had a big balcony, and it was cleaned every day. I liked the pastries at breakfast, which was good. We really enjoyed our stay. I think some people who leave bad reviews expect too much and should choose a five-star hotel or a resort.

The daily cleaning and fresh towels were the only good part for me. The hotel sits on a main road, and the traffic noise at night made it hard to sleep. The furniture and mattress were very old, and I woke with back pain. There was a stale smell throughout, plus rusty metal in the bathroom. The pictures of crying children on the walls were creepy, and there was an old baby stroller with big dolls in it in the middle of the restaurant. Breakfast is listed as 8-10, but if you arrive 10-15 minutes before 10, you may still go hungry. The staff said that means you should start eating at 8 and finish by 10. Maybe it's because they're short-staffed: two women seemed to cover every job, from reception and cooking to serving and cleaning. The breakfast wasn't tasty anyway, so I'd eat elsewhere, where there are plenty of better options. I would never recommend booking here.
