The view from the rooms is unique, with the sea and mountains both right there. It has a warm atmosphere and is clean. One of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The host Alex is great.

Breakfast was served privately in our room, and the premises were cleaned every day. Fresh towels were provided, and there was no sand or trash. The rooms feel cozy, with home style furnishings, and the service impressed us. We had an amazing vacation and strongly recommend it!

Alex was so kind and helpful, thank you for everything. The view is breathtaking, and the beach is very close. For me, this is the best place to stay in Thassos.

We stayed four days at the Mare Monte Small Boutique Hotel in Thassos, Greece, with our two families and had a fantastic time. Alex and her mother were polite, helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms are spacious and charming, and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We also loved the beautiful views and had a delicious, satisfying breakfast each morning to start the day. Golden Beach is a lovely area, close to Panagia village, and the hotel’s location is great for a quiet escape. Just be aware that it’s a 20-minute drive from the city center (ferry port), and the road from the hotel down to the beach is rough, so walking there isn’t very convenient. The food, views, immaculate rooms and warm hospitality made this a great place for a relaxing stay. We strongly recommend the hotel and thank Alex and her mother for looking after us.
