Alex Beach Hotel - Bungalows Hotel

The food had plenty of choice and tasted fresh, and our room was comfortable and well looked after. What I’ll remember most is how kind and helpful everyone on staff was. The hotel felt calm and clean, with the beach only a few steps away. I was really happy with the stay.

Gabrielle and George made the evening even better with their humour and conversation. The whole team helped turn the stay into a memorable one, from the room and service to the food. It was a real pleasure staying here. All the best, and I hope to see you again soon.

The food was fresh and delicious, with a nice range of choices each day, and the hotel is close enough to the beach for an easy walk. The staff were warm and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and pitching in when we needed something. Our room was comfortable and clean, and housekeeping kept it tidy. I had a really enjoyable stay at Alex Beach Hotel & Bungalows and would recommend it for a relaxing visit in Greece.

The pools were a big hit with the children, especially the slides, and the beach was lovely. Bring water shoes for the stones. The sea and sunsets were beautiful. TUI Kid’s Club kept our daughter happily busy with organised, age-appropriate activities, and she also loved the Mini Disco. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. There were a few drawbacks. The food could have been better for a 4-star hotel, though the pizza was tasty and often felt like the safest choice. Poolside soft drinks had a strange, almost cleaning-product taste, and the bar’s alcoholic drinks weren’t much better, despite the staff trying their best. The pools only open at 10 a.m., which felt late with early-rising kids. Insects, possibly cicadas, were extremely noisy, especially if your room is near the trees. That may be outside the hotel’s control, but it was still annoying.
