The location is very central, but the rooms are small and the furnishings and equipment are very old. In our triple room, the third bed was a tiny folding one, uncomfortable even for a child. The bathroom was in awful shape, and the safe didn't work. The management and reception staff were rude and had no manners. I asked if I could check out an hour later, until 12, and said I was willing to pay. They turned me down in a really unfriendly way. There's no place to pull up and load or unload bags either, since they leave their service car in front of the hotel. If I owned the place, I'd sack this team straight away.

The staff were lovely and helpful, but the shower barely drains. It's only about 50 cm by 50 cm, if I'm being generous. The fridge also didn't work on the first night, though they replaced it for me. I wasn't sure why I had to leave my key at reception whenever I went out.

This is my second stay, and I'll be back. It's convenient, good value, and in the heart of the old city. The room was comfortable and the lighting just right. The A/C and shower both worked well, and I slept fine without all the gadgets some other places offer. Breakfast was very good, and the coffee was excellent compared with other places. I'll tell my family about it too.

It's handy for getting around the city centre, and the price feels fair for what you get. The room was passable, and the equipment and furniture were moderate to not renovated. There's no sea view from the room or balcony. I'd treat it as basic accommodation for a night or two while stopping over, not expect a great stay. The staff were moderate to not honest about the hotel's facilities and specifications. We gave it three stars generously. The location is the strong point, everything else was passable to moderate.
