Antigon Urban Chic Hotel

The room felt luxurious, though a bit dated, and I loved the balcony. It reminded me of our stay in the suburbs of Paris. I was excited to stay because of the good reviews, and a stylish, friendly male receptionist in his 60s greeted me. Everything else was fine, but at night the footsteps overhead were loud and constant, as if someone was having a night incontinence. I mentioned it at reception the next morning, and they seemed surprised because the 7th floor isn't open for guests. My room was on the 6th floor. I considered adding four nights, but ended up choosing a cheaper place down the road.

We'd planned a one-night weekend trip, but a car problem meant we had to stay another night. The people here went out of their way to help us and make arrangements while we dealt with the car. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and we could barely hear the neighbors. The service, breakfasts, and feel of the place were like a 5-star luxury hotel, while the prices were amazing. Great people, a great place, and a great night's sleep. I totally recommend it. Thank you, Hotel Antigon! 🩷

I stayed at Antigon Urban Hotel from October 25th to 27th. The central location made it easy to explore, with almost all the main sights within a 20-minute walk. The cleanliness and atmosphere made the stay really pleasant. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. Parking usually costs extra, but they didn't charge me, which I appreciated. My booking didn't include breakfast, but Filip treated me to it. Special thanks to him for being kind and patient with all my questions, and for offering me a nice coffee ☕️ The hotel and its staff clearly value their guests. The hotel itself has a great location, good staff, and strong service. But after an incident caused by high winds nearby, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. The valet had taken responsibility for parking my car on the hotel's premises, though legally the hotel wasn't responsible. I asked whether they might cover any of the cost, knowing it was a long shot. They declined, and that left me feeling they were missing a basic part of customer care. After the business chose to share details of what happened publicly, I wanted to explain what a better response could have looked like: acknowledge the stress, make clear they weren't taking responsibility, and offer a night or two so I might choose them again. No money and no acceptance of liability, just a thoughtful gesture. That's how customer experience is handled in places where it comes first. I hope they learn from this. Thanks, and happy New Year.
