The one positive was that the place was clean and centrally located. Otherwise, this was an absolutely horrible stay in every way. The only worse hotel I’ve experienced had exposed power outlets beside the shower and black mold on the ceiling. This one is getting close. Our “double” room was tiny, smaller than a standard bedroom, with two single beds pushed together. The beds were so short that at 1.69 m my legs hung off almost to my knees, and I couldn’t get comfortable. The mattresses were terrible, and the so-called pillow was a useless, rock-hard plush lump that bent my neck unnaturally. There were no blinds or blackout curtains, so the early morning light at 05:30 made it very hard to sleep. The bathroom was tiny too, and the shower barely had room for one person. The air conditioning was old and loud, taking 15-20 minutes to start cooling the 3-square-meter room. There was no air conditioning in the rest of the hotel, so by the time we reached our room we were already sweating, and the hotel itself was hotter than outside in the evening. This was in Thessaloniki’s scorching 38°C summer. There was no staff or service in the evening, and no breakfast. Check-in and checkout were handled by email and access codes. The mini fridge wasn’t stocked, no shower robes were provided, and the soap and shower gel barely covered one shower a day. They also asked us to send personal information outside what we’d supplied through the booking site.

The balcony was lovely, and the room had a mini fridge, good heating and air conditioning, and good WiFi. The hotel is modern and in an excellent location, with a parking lot two blocks away for €15 a day, which is great for Thessaloniki, where hotels have no parking. The room itself was extremely small, smaller than a normal bedroom, and we could barely fit two suitcases on the floor. The bed was two singles pushed together, and the gap was left uncovered instead of using a mattress topper. The shower was the usual annoying Greek handheld type with no wall attachment, which surprised us in a modern hotel.

The staff were very kind and friendly, and the rooms were clean, with really comfortable bedding and modern furnishings. Being right in the center of Thessaloniki made it easy to stroll around the city. I highly recommend it if you visit Thessaloniki!

A recently opened hotel with tiny bathrooms, steep steps, and oddly triangular rooms. There’s no hotel staff from 8 in the evening until 9 in the morning, no luggage room, and no room service. The location is very poor and hard to find. We could get much better for the same price.
