We had permanent heating and water, and the location was convenient. But the place felt abandoned and was far too expensive for its condition. The walls were dirty, cables hung in the air, the frames were in poor shape, and there were no shutters at all. Remains of furniture and curtains gave us no privacy. It looked nothing like the cool, relaxed home in the photos. What a shame.
We visited during a very cold spell, and the natural gas heating kept the boho-style apartment very warm. We liked the layout and how close it was to everything in central Thessaloniki, so it was a pretty good option for our few days there. The lack of shutters was the one thing I disliked. It felt cold by the windows at night, especially with the beds quite close to them, and the curtains were thin enough that people in the houses opposite could see in.
